Vision Applications

This fast and accurate vision application checks that the correct pattern of colours is within a box of chocolates.

A single Cognex In-Sight DVT 554C sensor is used to check the correct pattern of colours within the box.  The powerful DVT colour tools allow fast and accurate recognition of the colours within the image and check against the pattern of colours required.

Problems that can be detected by the system:

• Incorrect chocolates included in packaging
• Missing chocolates
• Incorrectly coloured chocolates
