Vision Applications

This vision application inspects coloured plastic and glass bottles to check that the thread dimensions are acceptable.

The bottles are backlit to provide a silhouette of the thread form. Using a single Cognex In-Sight Vision Sensor, the camera uses edge and measurement tools to check the thread and inspect for thread damage.
